Tilmanstone Salads, owned by the Bakkavor Group is based in Kent. The site supplies the likes on Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s and Asda with freshly prepared salads and vegetables.
Component Developments worked with Flordeck to design, manufacture and supply a sustainable stainless steel drainage solution that meets all F.D.A, hygiene and hydraulic requirements.
The system designed was Component Developmnts stainless steel 3010 drainage channel, with a built in fall to a 75mm diameter outlet. This was topped with Component Developments anti-slip grating to prevent employee slippage.
Stainless steel double kerbing was also supplied, with an insulated wall panel and base straps for fixing to concrete. Kerbing prevents damage to the walls in places where trolleys are frequently used. In line with the F.D.A requirements on a food production plant, this kerbing must be easy to clean and hygienic; both properties of stainless steel.
“Together we have achieved stainless steel installations into both new and progressive developments, giving our clients the highest standard, smartness, practicality and quality that they have invested in.”” – Paul Judge, Flordeck
Component Developments designed a stainless steel floor drainage solution specially for places where hygiene and durability are paramount such as the Food and Drink industry.
