Sunningdale Golf Club was founded in 1900 and has two eighteen hole golf courses. Sunningdale Golf Club has hosted many of the prestigious events in golf including the British Masters, Walker Cup, Women’s’ British Opens and The Senior Open Championship.

Component Developments was approached to design, manufacture and supply the stainless steel floor drainage solution for a bratt pan. The floor finish used was vinyl and therefore Component Developments used their specifically designed channel profile which includes a vinyl sheet clamping flange.

The channel designed and supplied was much wider than the standard at 500mm wide. The system included a built in fall to a type 5300 gully. This gully has a capacity of 6 L/s and included a removable waste basket, odour trap and 110mm diameter side outlet spigot.

The system was topped with Component Developments anti-slip grating, which has a 23 x 23mm open mesh and 30 x 2mm load bar. This wider mesh helps decrease the likeihood of splash back and keeps the channel and kitchen hygienic.
