New Beacon was founded in 1863, and has since become one of the leading all boys prep schools in Kent. In 2016, they had a sports refurbishment consisting of new changing rooms, and showers. Component Developments designed, manufactured and supplied the stainless steel drainage systems.
This included stainless steel Vinoseal drainage channels and gullies. These are specifically for vinyl flooring, and come with a clamping flange, in which the vinyl sheet flooring is put into the flange and then clamped. This decreases the likelihood of seepage and failure of the vinyl sheet flooring, increasing the lifetime of the floor.
All systems came with removable waste baskets, to ensure periodic and easy cleaning of debris caused from showering. This also enables a longer produce lifespan, and allows the system to work and its full hydraulic capacity.
These where then topped off with our durable, bare-foot friendly Heelsafe grating perfect for leisure centres, and changing rooms.
