Interior Building Drainage
Brick Brewery is a craft beer microbrewery in a railway arch in Peckham. Originally started from a garden shed, and inspired from their travels Brick Brewery is making a name for itself for its high quality, flavoursome beers.
Component Developments was approached by Flordeck to design, manufacture and supply the stainless steel floor drainage solution for the brewery. The solution had to be sustainable, meet all hydraulic requirements whilst being able to withstand the weight of pallet trucks and other slow moving vehicles used within a brewery.
The final solution was a 3010RS stainless steel drainage channel, with reinforced shoulders, brace bars, levelling feet and anchor tangs. The reinforced shoulders gave the channel increased support, and allowed it to withstand the weight of pallet trucks. This system had a built-in fall to Component Developments type 5200 gully, complete with o-ring, waste basket, odour trap and 110mm diameter side outlet spigot.
This drainage channel was topped with Component Developments heavy duty anti-slip grating, with a 23 x 10mm open mesh, and a 20 x 3mm load bar.
The final solution was a hygienic, long lasting drainage channel capable of meeting all the hydraulic requirements of a brewery.
Paul Judge, Flordeck:
