Component Developments worked alongside Adept Flooring to support BHJ Protein Foods during their renovation work. A team member visited the site twice, to ensure all measurements were accurate and the products were best suited for the job.

Due to the client working with chemicals, Component Developments had to run tests to ensure that the materials and products used were resistant to all chemicals used during the food process, this helped guarentee a long product life, and decrease chances of failure. 

Component Developments installed 18m of 3010RS channel, with reinforced channel shoulders, and a built-in 5300 gully, with a removable waste basket, rodding port and odour trap. The removable waste basket is imperative in the food processing environment, as it allows regular cleaning routines, and emptying to take place. This is necessary with food waste and in an industry where hygiene is of the upmost importance.

This was then topped with an anti-slip grating which would accommodate the high amount of traffic, whilst preventing employee slippage.
