Gratings on Sunshine
26/03/07
Sunshine the new film from Director Danny Boyle (Train Spotting, Shallow Grave, A Life Less Ordinary) is to be released in cinemas on 5th April. To enhance the films futuristic story line, stainless steel was used to line the spaceship, including our gratings and gullies.

“The film is set in 2057, the sun is dying and mankind faces extinction. Earth’s last hope lies with the Icarus 2, a spacecraft with a crew of eight men and women. Their mission: to deliver a nuclear device designed to re-ignite our fading sun. Deep into their voyage, out of radio contact with Earth, the crew hear distress beacon from the Icarus 1, which disappeared on the same mission seven years earlier. A terrible accident throws their mission into jeopardy and soon the crew find themselves fighting not only for their lives and their sanity, but for the future of us all…”
