What is the maximum length a channel can be?

Quite simply there is no maximum length for our channel systems. Over the past thirty years we have manufactured a huge variety of channel systems. From systems that run for hundreds of metres in a single run to food production facilities where the channels are networked together.

However, the longer the channel, the deeper into the ground it needs to go to allow it to keep it's fall. Therefore the available depth should be a consideration. Another consideration is the type of transport and access into the building on a regular basis.

We always aim to minimise the number of joints in our channel systems to decrease the installation time required on site. As standard our channel systems, no matter how long the system is, will be supplied in lengths up to 6 metres long. Experience has taught us that sections longer than this become unwieldy and difficult to install.
