INSTALLATION GUIDE

4200 Series

  1. Carefully unload the assembled cover and remove packaging material.
  2. Fit the outer frame over the manhole and adjust to finished floor level.
  3. Fix and bed-in the outer frame.
  4. Locate the recessed cover in the frame, securing in position with supplied fixings.
  5. Fill with suitable infill leaving adequate recess for floor finish, but ensuring no cavities are present which will affect the structural integrity of the cover.
  6. Finally, apply floor finish.

4300 Series

  1. Carefully unload the assembled cover and remove packaging material.
  2. Fit the profiled outer frame over the manhole and adjust to finished screed level.
  3. Fix and bed-in the profiled outer frame.
  4. Draw the flooring over the angled portion of the profiled frame (as detailed below) and hold in position by dropping in the smaller clamping frame.
  1. Bolt the two frames together, clamping the flooring between the two.
  2. Assemble the lid by covering the backing plate with flooring material and clamping at the edges with the stainless steel trim.
  3. The completed lid is now screwed down in position with the countersunk hexagonal socket head screws, (unless alternative fixings are specified).
  4. Ensure Vinoseal covers are adequately protected against possible damage resulting from the continuation of work in the area.
    Immediately before handover of the building remove the protective peel-off strips from the trim.
