Leigh Sports Village is the biggest investment in public sports, recreational and educational facilities for Wigan Borough in many years, and will transform Leigh into one of the finest hubs of activity in the North West.
The £83 million project includes 10,000 seat stadium, new Leigh sixth form college, 400m running track with a covered sprinting facility and club house, new pavilion for a local amateur rugby league, flood lit grass and artificial pitches and mulit-use games area.
Component Developments worked with Rokbuild to develop shower and changing area drainage, combining drainage channels, stand alone gullies and manhole covers to ensure that there was sufficient equipment in place to make an efficient and effective system.
Our 4000 series manhole covers are fully integrated within the floor finish, providing lockable and double sealed solutions. The 4200 model is a recessed (infill) cover to accept a screed with a tile or resin floor finish. The 4300 is a Vinoseal access cover with vinyl clamping strip to mechanically clamp vinyl sheet floor finishes securely in position.
