Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium
26/01/07
After ninety-three years of having the Gunners at Highbury, they have moved to the new Emirates Stadium. It has taken nearly three years in the making and cost £390 million, encompassing 60,000 seats, the first being installed 13th March 2006.

For the project, Component Developments supplied over one-hundred roddable trapped gullies of varying sizes and accessories. The majority of the gullies were supplied with either anti-slip grating or a lock-down, sealed infill cover. The anti-slip grating provides safety and protection in areas where grease and other slippery substances are present.

DPM clamp’s were also supplied with the gullies, ensuring that the membrane was securely fastened. This directs any water or moisture on top of the membrane into the gully for disposal, and prevents any rising moisture from soaking up into the structure.

To facilitate easy cleaning and hygiene standards, our gully pots are rounded rather than square. This shape prevents bacteria from breeding in corners that are awkward and problematic to clean.
