Benton Hall Golf Club is a demanding parkland course within natural woodland and countryside surroundings. Spanning 6,574 yards in length, it has been described as challenging hazardous, and well deserving of its ‘championship’ title.
Component Developments have provided stainless steel solutions for drainage and access to the club, working with J.M. Scully Ltd. Thirty-nine horizontal outlet gullies were supplied, together with twenty-one vertical outlet gullies, all complete with odour traps, waste baskets and membrane clamp.
Nearly twenty metres of drainage channels were designed and supplied from our 6000 modular range which comes as a standard overall width of 155mm. Due to the location of the channels, a perforated grating was utilised in order to be suitable for barefoot traffic.
Our 4200 access covers were ordered to be used within a tiled or concrete floor. They are manufactured in standard clear opening sizes, but also available in bespoke dimensions. The covers are recessed to accept a screed with a tile or resin floor finish and, once installed, provides an aesthetic appearance leaving only the polished edge bar visible. The covers offer a gas tight fit, and can be used in conjunction with our stainless steel drainage channels to form a continuous duct.
Also available is our 4300 series, suitable for vinyl sheet flooring. The vinyl clamp ensures that the sheet is trapped in position, preventing any frays or tears, which may cause a trip hazard.
