Lying on the Southern outskirts of Ayr, Ayr Hospital is a district General Hospital, providing medical, surgical, orthopedic and geriatric assessment on an in-patient day case and our-patient basis, and is also the main Accident and Emergency centre for South Ayrshire.
The kitchens within the hospital operate 24 hours a day, and remained in operation throughout the refurbishment when Component Developments supplied over twenty metres of our type 3151 drainage channel – complete with a Vinoseal™ clamping strip to secure vinyl sheet flooring.
Having assessed the site, CD worked directly with Donaldson and Patterson – flooring services, to ensure the channels were made to the specification agreed – within a particular time frame, to create minimal disruption to contractors, and those working in and around the hospital.
