Interior Building Drainage
Centre Point Tower was one of the first skyscrapers in London and is the city’s joint 27th tallest building. In 2015 the tower started going through reconstruction to transition the office space into high end, luxury flats.
Component Developments was approached to design, manufacture and supply stainless steel floor drainage systems. The drainage channels designed had to meet the architect’s vision whilst also being able to perform all hydraulic requirements.
The systems had a built in fall to Component Developments type 5200-110VW trapped outlet gully including a removable waste basket, odour trap, rodding port and 110mm diameter outlet spigot. Complete with an anti-slip grating that was a 23 x 23mm open mesh, and had a 30 x 3mm load bar.
Component Developments also supplied various stand-alone gullies with different outlet options.
The final solution was an effective yet aesthetic drainage system that kept inline with all requirements.
